Milne Bay Provincial Government Supports 3rd Edition of Milne Bay OutLoud Music Festival 2025


Alotau, PNG – The Milne Bay OutLoud Music Festival 2025 has received a major boost, with the Milne Bay Provincial Government stepping in as a Major Sponsor with a generous K250,000 funding commitment.


The announcement was made during the OutLoud Corporate Dinner held at Driftwood Resort in Alotau on Saturday 1st March 2025, where Mr. Colin Morove, representing the Governor’s office, officially presented the cheque on behalf of Hon. Gordon Wesley, Governor of Milne Bay Province. Present in witnessing the presentation was Provincial Administrator Mr. Igo Gari, Damien from the Alotau Enterprises Ltd, Jamil from Nur_Printing and Office Works and other Business Executives. Also in attendance were First Secretary for the Tourism, Arts and Culture Mr. William Lappa as well as Secretary for National Planning and Monitoring of Papua New Guinea.


Festival Chairman Mr. Owen_Abel expressed his gratitude for the significant support, emphasizing how this sponsorship will help elevate the festival, providing a platform for local musicians, cultural showcases, and youth empowerment through music.

"We sincerely thank Governor Gordon Wesley and the Milne Bay Provincial Government for believing in this festival and investing in the future of Milne Bay’s music and creative industry. This contribution ensures that OutLoud 2025 will be bigger and better."


A big thank you also goes out to the business houses that attended the corporate dinner, showing their support and commitment to growing local tourism, arts, and culture in Milne Bay.
